WILL I SMELL LIKE A  COW?

This is probably the question I get asked the most! 

I can assure you after extensive testing ie pushing my face up into the other mums at school and asking what they can smell,  I’ve never had anyone tell me I smell like beef! 

You may notice a faint sweet smell when you first apply the balm but this rapidly disappears as it is absorbed into your skin and you are only left with the uplifting scent of whatever essential oil blend your chosen balm was combined with.

WHY DOES MY TALLOW BALM HAVE A SLIGHT GRAINY TEXTURE?

Our tallow is a completely natural product and is made to the exact same recipe every time. There are multiple factors that can affect the final product, such as sunlight, seasons, water or type of grass the cows receive, factors which cannot be changed without chemically altering the product, adding toxic and unnecessary additives.

Grass-fed beef tallow is very similar in composition to a wax, it hardens and then melts at body temperature. If the graininess bothers you, simply warm the product in your cupped hands before applying to your skin. It will melt with your body heat and leave your skin feeling and looking nourished and radiant.
